On 17th April, 2011, we attended the Dialog Day with our MP, Dr Lam Pin Min, along with our community and grassroot leaders held at the Anchorvale CC 'All Purpose Hall'. The event gave the residents of Sengkang West the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions of Dr Lam and the team, in an open and transparent forum.Dr Lam opened with a very powerful presentation of the many wonderful things that have been achieved in Sengkang West over the last five years or so, and also outlined the ongoing work and future plans for our close knit community.
This video was prepared as a prelude to Dr Lam's presentation, and I'm sure that my fellow residents were just as moved as me... it took quite a lot to remain unnoticed as I rapidly rubbed my arms to remove the goosebumps that arose. I felt (and still feel) so very, very proud.
