As most of you already know, back on July 1st I wrote about my meet-up with the brilliantly talented J C Sum and ‘Magic Babe’ Ning after their world record-breaking “Impossible Record” (15 illusions in 5 minutes) and their subsequent incredible cyber-illusion involving a deck of cards and this Aussie Pete blog.
The meeting was organized as an official media event for the finalists of the OMY 2009 Singapore Blog Awards.
Since the event and my article, there has been much online coverage and I’ve received a ton of email asking me about the illusion (people are still asking if I had pre-arranged anything with the magical duo – let me once again confirm… I had never met, nor spoken to J C and Ning (or anyone associated with them) in my life prior to that evening at Clark Quay… there was absolutely no complicity on my behalf – I was more amazed than anyone, let me tell you).
Just recently, I received an email from the guys inviting my family and me to attend their “Ultimate Illusion” show, which we will be doing on Wednesday night, 22nd July – we’re looking forward to that one!!
Anyway, enough said… if you didn’t catch the detail behind the trick they played on me – you can read about it here.
Below are links to just some of the online media attention that our meet-up attracted (there are hundreds more, but most of them cover the same information, often verbatim). Also, further down below is the video of the official world-breaking moment that has recently been posted to YouTube… J C and Ning are in the process of organizing their next “Mega Event” - we will know more about that soon. In the meantime, they have planned something quite cool for their fans on Facebook – a competition, with one of the prizes being a date with the one and only ‘Magic Babe’ Ning…

You got invited and get to watch the show for free! That's so lucky. I'm joining the contest hoping to get a date with Magic babe.
