Which one's tougher - the highly venomous, super-quick snake or the very hungry little mammal?One thing's for sure... only one of these creatures will walk (or slither) away. The following video from National Geographic was filmed in Southern India. The real life battle is between a king cobra and an Indian gray mongoose.
According to the commentator, the cobra is deadly enough to kill a human being in just 30 minutes.

no king cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) in this vid. It's acommon cobra (Naja naja) which is a meal for the king cobra as for the mongoose. Mongooses are not stupid enough to fight of an adult (4 meters long) king cobra. There's just no chance for the mammal to win.
